// Why SketchUp users render with Silpu
Presentation-ready, without the render rabbit hole
Traditional SketchUp renderers ask for a powerful GPU, a paid licence and hours learning lights and materials. Silpu asks for one click.
One click, in SketchUp
Render the view you're already looking at — no export, no re-upload, no second app to learn.
Photoreal in seconds
AI turns your model into a magazine-grade image fast — not an overnight CPU render.
No GPU, no setup
Rendering runs in the cloud, so it works on an ordinary laptop. Nothing heavy to install.
Day → dusk → night
Relight a render from daylight to golden hour to a moonlit night in a click.
True to place
Streetscapes, planting and light that suit the country you're building in — not generic stock.
Pay per render
Free to start, then pay-as-you-go credits that never expire. No subscription, no seat licence.

// AI rendering vs V-Ray / Enscape
A different tool for a different job
We won't pretend Silpu replaces a ray-tracer for every task — here's the honest difference, so you can pick the right one.
Reach for a traditional renderer when…
you need pixel-exact control of every light, material and reflection, you have the GPU and licence, and you have time to set the scene up. V-Ray and Enscape are superb at that.
Reach for Silpu when…
you want a beautiful presentation image in seconds — for a client, a listing or a concept — with no GPU, no licence and no setup. One click from your SketchUp view, done.

// Frequently asked
Questions, answered
How do I render a SketchUp model with AI?
Install the free Silpu Render extension, open a 3D view in SketchUp, and click Render with Silpu. Your current viewport opens in Silpu Studio+ and becomes a photoreal render in seconds — no export, no render setup.
Do I need a powerful computer or GPU?
No. Silpu renders in the cloud with AI, so there's no GPU requirement and nothing heavy to install. It runs on an ordinary laptop because the rendering happens on our servers, not your machine.
Is it free?
The plugin is free to download and you start with free taste renders. After that you pay only for the renders you make — pay-as-you-go credits that never expire, no subscription.
Which SketchUp versions are supported?
SketchUp 2017 and newer, on both Windows and Mac. The native .rbz extension installs in seconds via Window → Extension Manager.
How is it different from V-Ray or Enscape?
V-Ray and Enscape are traditional renderers that need a capable GPU, a paid licence, and a learning curve. Silpu is AI: one click turns your view into a photoreal image in seconds, with no GPU, no licence and no setup. It's the fastest path to a presentation image — a different tool for a different job.
