This Privacy Policy explains how Silpu AI ("Silpu", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal information when you use our websites and applications, including the SILPU platform and Silpu AI Studio (the "Service"). We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Information we collect

Account information — your name and email address, collected when you sign up (authentication is handled by Supabase).
Billing information — payment details are collected and processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
Content you provide — text prompts, voice input, an optional project location or street address, uploaded images or 3D model screenshots, and the images the Service generates for you.
Usage information — basic logs such as the number of generations or renders you make, your plan tier, and timestamps, used to enforce plan limits and improve the Service.
Technical information — device, browser and (where applicable) IP-derived data collected automatically by our hosting provider.

2. How we use your information

To provide, operate and maintain the Service and generate the outputs you request.
To create and manage your account and enforce plan limits.
To process payments and manage subscriptions.
To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
To improve, secure and develop our features.
To comply with our legal obligations.

3. Third-party services we use

To deliver the Service, your content may be processed by trusted third-party providers, each under their own terms and privacy policies:

Supabase — authentication and database.
Stripe — payment processing.
Vercel — hosting and the AI Gateway used to reach some AI models.
AI model providers — including OpenAI, Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude), Black Forest Labs / Replicate, and fal.ai, which process your prompts and images solely to generate your requested output.

We only share what is necessary to perform these functions. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Your content and AI processing

Prompts and images you submit are sent to the relevant AI provider to produce your result. This includes any location or street address you optionally enter, which is sent to our AI provider only to tailor the render to that place (its typical light, planting and streetscape) — it is not used to identify you or any specific property. You retain ownership of the content you submit (see our Terms of Service). We do not use your private content to train our own models.

5. Data storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information using industry-standard measures. Data may be stored or processed on servers located outside Australia (for example, in the United States) by our providers listed above. By using the Service you consent to this transfer.

6. Data retention

We retain your account and usage information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see below).

7. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, and you may request that we delete your account. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be notified through the Service where appropriate.
